2. Minor spell tweaks
*1. Energy Drain now drains 5 levels instead of 2.
*2. Being raised from dead now drains 1 constitution point and 1 level.

3. Bling!
A small crapcomponent that gives your jewellery that special gangsta shine. Fits really well with Mang0's Hip Hop Mod.

4. Keep common helmet animation
A bit of code shamelessly stolen from BG2 Tweak Pack, used to change all helmets' animation to standard HELM01. Nothing special, nobody should ever find a reason to install it.

5. Change temples' resurrection cost
To change the issue of cheapness of death, I had to change temples' spell costs, too. There are two variants:
*1. Based on 3.5th edition, where Resurrection always costs 11000, regardless of your level.
*2. Based on 4th edition, where it IS based on your level:

Level       Cost
1-5          500
6-10        2500
11-15       5000
16-20      25000
26-30      50000
31-39      75000
40        100000

In original BG2, it costed around 1000 gp in all temples.

The last ten levels are not in the 4th edition, so I made up those.

6. 3.5 ed race bonuses
It changes race bonuses to much more overpowered in accordance to 3.5th ed.
Human: No changes
Dwarf: +2 to constitution, -2 to charisma
Elf: +2 to dexterity, -2 to constitution
Gnome: +2 to constitution, -2 to strength
Half-elf: No changes
Halfling: +2 to dexterity, -2 to strength
Half-orc: +2 to strength, -2 to intelligence and charisma

7. Protection from good/evil
My take on creating an alternative protection for the evil characters. The scrolls are on Galoomph's and Lasarus's stores. Contains an original icon!

8. X kills Y
I'm not so good at inventing titles. Anyway, this component is all about the idea of certain spells killing certain monster groups. Mostly the weaker ones, so fear not.
Spells affected currently:
* False dawn
  Kills shadows.

* Sunray
  Kills shadows.

* Zone of sweet air
  Kills mists.

9. Poor man's reputation
By my understanding, reputation doesn't mirror one's wealth. People won't whisper among themselves "watch out, bro, this guy donated 8000 for the church", but something about like us freeing the slaves, or resurrecting a dead child's dad.
So now you can raise your reputation by money only up to 12.

10. Paladins fall more often
I asked myself, "why are paladins falling only because of their reputation? And why can they only redeem when they are already paladins?" I can't help the second one, but nowpaladins can fall automatically after performing some vile deeds.
Like:
- Poisoning the Grove
- Taking Lady Elgea's ransom *
- Killing Adalon
- Killing Hendak *
- Striking a deal with Firkraag *
- Getting thrown out of Radiant Heart

* - 66% chance of falling. Those actions are evil, but not many can hear about it, so you don't have to be socially depaladinized.

11. Anarg's helm of reversed alignment
Anarg wasn't thought out very well. A high-ranking officer suddenly found trading slaves and breaking out of Order? Clearly, this was an effect of EVIL MAGIC! In a helmet form. So now you can explain it to yourself, all while wearing Anarg's cursed helmet.

12. Improved gloves of healing
For a great honour in wearing those gloves, they are rather weak. If real young paladins wore this, they wouldn't stand a chance if an evil red dragon changed them into monsters and kidnapped a local landlord's daughterson.
So now they:
Cure 30 hit points
Cure blindness
Cure diseases.

13. Quite dangerous Rejiek and Darsidian
It's actually mostly affecting Rejiek. In the base game, he was just another five hit point wonder wuss, so I thought that he should be a bit stronger. And the same applied to Darsidian.
Now they're both at the "a little bit stronger than original Darsiadian but no big deal" level. Also, they can transform you into themselves by attacking.

14. Non-lethal weapons
Another from the "Change A to type B" line of toys, this time all weapons are changed to do fist-type damage, the non-lethal kind that only can make you unconscious. Bonus damage from weapons is still present, so you can KILL AND MURDER with no hindrance. But yay, peaceful resolutions!

15. Alternate third Pocket Plane trial
Throne of Bhaal always bored me to tears, after Abazigal/Sendai I can't play no longer. I thought I should tweak the Third Trial to make the rest of the game feel like a breeze.
WARNING: This component can seriously affect the rest of
     your game. Use at own risk.

16. Better Throne of Bhaal starting items
A bit of exaggeration. All it does is giving all spellcasters Robe of Vecna, and changing the Hammer +3 to Crom Faeyr. It was kinda mean to give it to us not upgraded.

17. Delete Deirdre & Joluv
Aside from being overpowered and without personality, those two represent what's wrong with 2011's Bioware. Eleven years earlier!

18. Bardic XP Boost
Apparently, bards with over 16 INT get a 10% boost to their gained XP, according to the 3.5 SRD. Who knew?

FAQ
++++

Q: What happened to the singing heads? I have a bad taste and found it funny!
A: I'm ashamed I even wrote it. Also, copyright issues.

Q: Oh god why are those prices so high? How am I supposed to play without my money?
A: Play cautiously. Also, the prices are so high because the SRD for 3.5 edition commands so. It was written for people with an infinite access to money.

Q: Why so little spells have their costs? I really like the idea, but it is somewhat lacking.
A: Those are the only spells with a fixed component cost. How do other spell components look like? Let's take Sequester for an example. "A basilisk eyelash, gum arabic, and a dram of whitewash." I can't price this! I could use real prices for it, but "three bucks and a quarter" doesn't sound like much when a stick costs an ounce of gold.

Q: Why does this mod only substract money and not real components? It would be a REAL mod then.
A: Sure it would. However, I totally suck at modding.

Q: But everything that makes a paladin fall is evil-only. how could I do that?
A: Component 11!

Q: Everything is so overpowered, I don't like it.
A: It's called "Tweaks" for a reason.

BUGS
++++

  • Spell Components works even when you don't have the required money. Engine's limitations.
  • After the alternate ending, there are no epilogues. This is caused by Doubtful!Charname being a dirt farmer in Candlekeep and not really caring.
  • After the alternate ending's credits, the cursor is not there. Hell if I know what this is caused by.
  • There can be some bugs caused by being two Rejieks at the same time, but I don't know what.
